Rosenbluth Award for Fusion Theory

Honoring and advancing promising younger members of the Fusion Energy Sciences theoretical community.

The Rosenbluth Award for Fusion Theory is named in honor of Professor Marshall N. Rosenbluth and is sponsored by General Atomics in San Diego, California. The purpose of the award is to recognize and advance the careers of promising young theorists engaged in, or entering, the field of Fusion Energy Science.


Nature of the Award
The recipient will be a promising younger theorist, less than 40 years of age, and will be expected to spend at least one year at GA working in collaboration with GA scientists in either Magnetic Confinement, or Inertial Confinement fusion research.

Applicants should submit a detailed curriculum vita, research proposal and three letters of recommendation to:
