Description: PLOTMED is available on HP

The program PLOTMED to trace out the plasma surfaces is now available
on Hydra. The full path is /link/efit/plotmed. PLOTMED creates a CGM
metafile named 'gmeta' containing the plots, instead of the DISSPOP
metafile '55mfit.pop' as on VAX. There are several commands you may
use to view the plots in gmeta, assuming /d/tools is in your path,

xview -c gmeta # to view plots on an X Window System display
tekview -c gmeta # to view plots on a Tektronix-compatible display
cgmplot -c gmeta # to print plots on your default printer

or simply 'gtek' to view the plots on Tektronix, assuming /link/efit
is in your path.

PLOTMED is also featured on the RUN_EFIT (/link/efit/run_efit) interface.
It is listed under Graphics menu. It provides an easy way to run the
program and view/print the plots.
