EFIT kinetic profile data
- Prepare K input file using a particular SNAP file
- _MSES for spline representation using magnetic and MSE data
- _MSEP for polynomial representation using magnetic and MSE data
- Run EFIT in mode 5, rename K file accordingly
- Run EFIT in mode 2 using the K file to get G EQDSK
- Use 33x65 double precision version
- Run ENERGY code on Vaxs or 4d on Hps using the G EQDSK to prepare profile information for ONETWO run
- Need to prepare EDAT files for CER and Thomson before ENERGY, see get_edat.doc
- Vary knot points appropriately to match the experimental data. Use autoknot, fix axis, fix edge options
- Get profiles of ne, Te, Zeff, Ti, and Omega
- Use command procedure on Vaxs (profiles_084654_02290.com)
- Run ONETWO on HP workstations to get pressure profile information and import it to the K file
- Use an existing INONE file as template (i183729.02450)
- Update ne, Te, Zeff, Ti, and Omega profile information from ENERGY P0 file
- Update neutral beam power using information on power, average beam energy, average right beam fraction from command procedure results on Vaxs (do_nbi.com)
- Update shot and time
- Use Freeman's run12 script to run, see run12.doc
- Summarize results by running summarize
- Check results using graphic outputs
- Use an existing INONE file as template (i183729.02450)
- Prepare kinetic input file for EFIT using ONETWO QIKONE file
- Use command procedure on Vaxs to extract the profile information and port it to the K file
- Manually edit the K file, namelist title, number of fitting parameters, pressure profile uncertainty
- Run 65x65 double precision version of EFIT efitd6565d using new kinetic K input file
- Track convergence and chi2
- Repeat whole procedure using new kinetic EQDSK if needed
